Apply now for a Sydney Quantum Academy PhD Scholarship

Are you interested in a career in quantum technology? 

Applications are now open for the next round of the Sydney Quantum Academy (SQA) PhD Scholarship. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of world-leading experts across four partner universities – UNSW, University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University.  

As a scholarship recipient, you’ll gain access to the SQA PhD Experience Program. You'll engage in interdisciplinary coursework across the partner universities, building robust connections with students and researchers. You’ll also benefit from career development funds, specialised training sessions, seminars and networking events. The program will give you the opportunity to collaborate with prominent quantum science and technology organisations and experts in Australia.  

To be eligible for an SQA PhD Scholarship, you need to apply for or be enrolled in a full-time PhD program at one of the program’s partner universities, which include UNSW.
