Westpac Future Leaders Scholarships provide fantastic opportunities to students across the country. The scholarships invest up to $120,000 over two to three years into postgraduate studies and offers to shape and develop students’ leadership skills.
They are designed to support individuals who are undertaking postgraduate study that will ultimately make a difference to Australia in one of three areas: technology and innovation, fostering Australian-Asian ties, and enabling positive social change. They also facilitate a nine-month Leadership Development Program which builds on personal strengths and provides insights, learning and inspiration.
The aim of the scholarships is to celebrate attributes that make a future leader: exceptional thinkers, highly ambitious, natural collaborators with big ideas, and driven by a desire to bring positive change to the world.
The scholarship is available to Australian citizens or permanent residents who have demonstrated academic excellence and are eager to undertake a full-time Masters degree by coursework or research or a PhD program. Please refer to the application for further eligibility requirements.
