The new Barker Street Bike Store has capacity for 35 bikes and features a change room, repair station and lockers.
Registrations to access the Barker Street Bike Store, UNSW’s first secure bicycle parking facility, will open on Monday 17 February 2020. The new facility, located beside the Barker Street car park, has capacity for 35 bikes per day and features a change room, a repair station and lockers for your convenience.
Access to Barker Street Bike Store is free for registered users. Spaces are limited so you will need to register quickly to secure a spot, including reading and agreeing to the Term and Conditions listed. Access will be granted within 48 hours of your registration and will be valid to 29 May 2020.
Bicycle parking space within Barker Street Bike Store is on a “first come, first served” basis. UNSW makes no guarantees that a parking space will be available within the Barker Street Bike Store for all registered users at all times.
As parking is at a premium for all registered cyclists, remember to take your bike home when you are not on campus.
There are two types of lockers in Barker Street Bike Store. You can use short term lockers for free for a period of 12 hours, while you can use long term lockers for an entire academic term for a non-refundable hire fee of $45.00.
Registered users store their items at their own risk but CCTV is installed onsite and registered users will need to swipe their ID card to access. The facility will be regularly monitored by UNSW Security.
Visit Barker Street Bike Store for more information. Register for Term 1 access on Monday 17 February.
Visit this page on Monday at 11am for the link to register.
