Archibus was updated to version 26 on Wednesday 8 September, providing new features and an enhanced look and feel to improve the user experience.
The Campus Solutions team has worked hard behind the scenes to upgrade UNSW Sydney’s Archibus framework.
The University uses the Archibus system for facility management works and space management. You can log a service request for repairs, maintenance, relocations, waste, cleaning, and other enquiries which is then directed to Estate Management.
You may need to clear your internet browser cache when accessing the new version of Archibus for the first time. If you deal with external vendors who use Archibus, please let them know that the upgrade is now complete.
Benefits of the upgrade
- New look and feel – the improved Archibus navigation has made the system more intuitive and easier to use to find what you need. Viewing and finding data is simpler with fewer clicks required.
- Improved user experience – the ‘Create New Request’ process is improved, and display and printing of floor plans is faster and provides greater options.
- Enhanced space and maintenance consoles – all maintenance and space data will be managed using new streamlined single page consoles, reducing the number of screens users have to load to get their work done.
- Responsive user interface – to improve the user experience, Archibus will adapt to multiple devices, making it easier to view on mobile phones and tablets.
