Kingsford Legal Centre and UNSW Law & Justice are collecting donations for the People’s Pantry.
The People's Pantry is a food relief service run by South Eastern Community Connect (SECC), a community centre in Mascot. They provide desperately needed food aid to more than 130 households in their local area.
Ninety-six people access the service every week and 20 per cent of these are young families in crisis. Demand for the service is growing daily. Your donation can make an enormous difference to individuals and families in need.
Kingsford Legal Centre and UNSW Law & Justice are collecting donations of food and essential items in the run up to Christmas again this year. See below the list of food and essential items required.
If you’re interested in donating, please look through your pantry or add an item to your shopping list. Drop it off at UNSW Law & Justice Reception (Level 2) or Kingsford Legal Centre before Friday 1 December.
The People’s Pantry is looking for donations of: rice (1kg), oats/cereal, pasta sauce/stir fry sauce, long-life meals, toilet paper, long-life juice or soft drink, long-life milk, canned vegetables, canned fruit, snacks, pasta, soap, sweet/savoury biscuits/snacks, size 4-6 nappies, baby food, other baby items, toothpaste/brushes, shampoo/conditioner, sanitary pads, and chips and lollies.
