Learn about SoTL, your new academic superpower.
Are you an educator wanting to learn more about how to use Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) to boost student engagement and learning? Or disseminate your teaching innovations in ways that create impact beyond your school and faculty?
In this first session of the year, presenters Dr Anna Rowe, Senior Lecturer, Academic Development, and Dr Gabi Nudelman, Senior Lecturer, School of Management and Governance, will introduce the concept of SoTL and discuss why it’s important to engage in educational research and evaluation. They’ll share real-life examples of how SoTL has been used to impact student learning, as well as strategies to help you get started.
The Seminar is online on Wednesday 13 March 2024 from 12 to 1pm and is open to everyone.
This event is a part of the Connections series, seminars and workshops that provide you with the opportunity to learn from your colleagues to inform your own teaching practice.
