The Master of Visualisation, Simulation and Immersive Design will offer students access to an agile education environment in a first-of-its-kind experience.
The Master of Visualisation, Simulation and Immersive Design (MVSID) program is now available on UNSW Art & Design. It offers a unique human-centred, design-driven approach to enable students to use simulation, visualisation and immersive environments. The first-of-its-kind program will give graduates better job opportunities, such as design leaders, artists, researchers, planners, analysts, innovators, and entrepreneurs in lots of industry sectors.
Industries and enterprises globally are realising the potential of using visualisation, simulations and immersive environments to train their workforce in life-like, real-time scenarios. UNSW is the first university to offer a range of short courses and postgraduate programs that focus on the human-centric, design-led application of these state-of-the-art technologies.
“We are excited to offer students the opportunity to access an agile education environment and look forward to helping to educate the next generation of simulation and visualisation professionals,” said Professor Ross Harley, Dean of UNSW Art & Design.
In addition to the Master, Graduate Certificate and short courses options are available. They are designed in partnership with the Asia Pacific Simulation Alliance (APSA), a collaborative network of government, industry and academia. The program provides students with knowledge and skills to meet the increasing industry demand for the effective use of immersive technologies.
UNSW is expanding its range of education options with industry-focused Visualisation, Simulation and Immersive Design short courses, scheduled and structured to fit around busy work schedules.
Short courses are already on offer with more in development, and the Master begins in T1 2020.
