SafeZone

UNSW’s new safety app SafeZone has replaced StaySafe.

Safety on campus is a priority at UNSW. The SafeZone app provides instant access to help in emergencies, direct communication with UNSW security, real-time safety alerts and quick location sharing during crises.

SafeZone’s features include:

  • an emergency button to immediately contact Security
  • a first aid button to request initial medical assistance
  • a button for non-urgent safety enquiries
  • a check-in timer for staff working alone or late at night
  • UNSW shuttle bus tracking
  • capacity to report suspicious activity
  • real-time notifications, including information if there is a crisis or serious incident on campus.

The StaySafe app is no longer supported. We encourage all students and staff to download SafeZone for free from the App Store or Google Play.
