This week The Lounge will celebrate NAIDOC Week with Indigenous dishes, an inaugural art installation and live music.

National NAIDOC Week is held across Australia in the second week of July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

To celebrate NAIDOC Week, from Monday 8 to Friday 12 July, The Lounge will offer an Indigenous dish: warm sweet potato salad, green bean and karkalla salad with native nham jim and macadamia. Guests can also enjoy an art installation, and free coasters with a bush tea recipe to take home.

On Thursday 11 July from 4 – 6pm we will have live music, featuring Indigenous artist Marcus Corowa, with 50% off all house drinks during that time.

Viva Engage/Yammer competition

Throughout the month of July, if you post a picture of your meal or experience at The Lounge on Viva Engage (formerly Yammer), you will be eligible to win a $100 voucher for The Lounge. Tag @Tessa Nikov, and the post with the most likes will win.
