The program provides practical strategies to help staff support their family's wellbeing and manage parenting challenges.
In the Work and Family Support Program, staff will learn about research findings on wellbeing, parenting and child development, and pick up tips and practical strategies to better manage work and family. It will help you develop your confidence and skills as a parent so you can reduce family stress and be more focused and productive at work.
Join us on Wednesday 2 April for our first webinar for 2025 on self-care.
Self-care is the first thing to go when juggling work and family life. Not taking care of yourself can have a negative impact on many areas of your life, including your physical and mental wellbeing, interactions with your children, family and friends as well as your work performance.
The program will give working parents and carers the opportunity to reflect on their limiting beliefs and the barriers to self-care. They will be inspired to take care of themselves with simple, achievable self-care activities.
The webinar will explore:
- what self-care is
- why self-care is so important for you, your family and your workplace
- how to identify and overcome the barriers and the guilt related to self-care
- practical strategies for self-care for busy working parents and their family
- a Q&A session.
