A myPlan student pilot will commence on 14 October 2024, and will run for two weeks.
The goal of the student pilot is to evaluate how effectively myPlan supports students in tracking their academic progress and managing their study plans. It will also help assess the suitability of the training materials to ensure they meet their purpose.
Approximately 30 students from all faculties have been selected to participate in this pilot.
When will myPlan be released?
The Nucleus: Student Hub staff have already been given access to myPlan and are now using it, with positive feedback.
Following the student pilot, myPlan will be released in two tranches:
- Tranche 1: Scheduled for release on 11 November 2024 – this tranche will roll out myPlan to approximately 32,000 students across 270 programs. Read the list of programs included in Tranche 1.
- Tranche 2: The remainder of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs and students will be onboarded in Q2 2025.
Key staff identified as needing access to myPlan will be included in the Tranche 1 rollout. We are currently reviewing additional staff who may require access and will provide updates and access at a later stage.
If you believe you need access to myPlan, please contact us at myplan@unsw.edu.au with a justification for your use case. We will review all requests and offer access and demonstration training as appropriate.
Will there be training on myPlan?
We will be offering Lunch & Learn sessions leading up to the Tranche 1 rollout for students. These will provide a live demonstration of myPlan and an opportunity to ask questions.
We will reach out to staff getting access to myPlan and arrange training sessions to ensure you are confident in using it.
