SafeZone’s features include:

- a button for non-urgent safety enquiries
- a check-in timer for staff working alone or late at night
- UNSW shuttle bus tracking
- capacity to report suspicious activity
- real-time notifications, including information if there is a crisis or serious incident on campus.
UNSW is prioritising campus safety, in line with our Gendered Violence Strategy 2022–25. SafeZone makes it easier to seek help and report safety concerns, including those related to potential gendered violence.
