On Tuesday 25 February 2025, UNSW will conduct the T1 SMS alert test.
UNSWAlert is an SMS notification system for students and staff. This is a vital tool to notify our community if any emergency or crisis situations arise on campus.
If you are a new student or staff member, you’ll automatically be registered to receive communication from UNSWAlert unless you choose to opt out.
Each term, UNSWAlert sends out test notifications. On the listed day for T1, students and staff will receive the following SMS message from SafeZone:
UNSWAlert – TEST. This is a TEST MESSAGE. You do not need to take action or respond to this message. UNSW Emergency Management.
