Help green our campus, boost your wellbeing and meet colleagues at the Urban Growers garden bee.
The garden is located on the northeast corner of the Barker Street car park and is maintained by volunteer students and staff. After three months of closure during the carpark upgrade work, the garden needs a refresh.
The next garden bee is on Tuesday 25 February 2025, 12-1pm.
Here’s how you can get involved on the day:
- clean and refresh garden beds
- learn about seed saving practices
- plant seedlings and seeds to boost our urban food production.
Whether you're a gardening novice or enthusiast, this session offers hands-on learning in planting seeds and seedlings, weeding and crop rotation practices. Gardening is also a great way to boost your mental and physical health.
Register now for the garden bee.
