From Tuesday 7 January 2025, casual Professionals will use myTimesheet to record and submit their work hours.

As you know, UNSW is committed to ensuring our people are paid accurately and in a timely manner for the work they perform – myTimesheet plays a critical role in supporting this.

The myTimesheet team has been working with our faculties and divisions in preparation for the transition to myTimesheet and we’re excited to announce that myTimesheet is going live for casual Professional employees and their supervisors on Tuesday 7 January 2025.

What does this mean for you?

  • All casual Professionals will stop using our Casual Pay Timesheet and begin using myTimesheet to record and submit your work hours each fortnight.
  • All (Academic and Professional) supervisors of casual Professionals will approve final timesheets from our casual pay timesheet system in the first week of January 2025, then will move to approving timesheets in myTimesheet each fortnight.
  • Casual Academics will not need to use myTimesheet until later in 2025.

Note that the transition to myTimesheet will lead to a change in the reporting periods for casual Professionals – that is, an ongoing change to the claim dates for your time worked.
