Our Culturally Inclusive Calendar highlights key religious and cultural dates in Australia, to support our diverse community at UNSW. We encourage you to use the calendar as a guide when scheduling exams and assessments, and planning meetings, events and activities at the University.
We developed the resource in recognition of the diversity of our student and staff community, reflecting our commitment under UNSW’s Strategy 2025 to fostering an inclusive culture and removing barriers to representation.
This is the third iteration of the calendar, developed in line with feedback from the UNSW community and with reference to the ABS Standard Classification of Religious Groups. We recognise that the dates of significance included are not exhaustive and welcome input on what you would like to see in future versions. You can access the calendar in both digital and print versions, as well as through a downloadable file that can be imported to your email calendar for easy reference. Download the calendar or request the email compatible version via the EDI website.
