We’ve had a strong response from staff to our Academic Calendar Discussion Forums, with more than 300 registrations in the first week. This rapid uptake shows staff value this opportunity to discuss the merits of different calendars.
Hopefully many of you have found a time that suits your schedule to attend. As a reminder, the remaining sessions are:
- Wednesday 5 February 10am
- Wednesday 5 February 1.30pm
- Thursday 6 February 10am
- Friday 14 February 10am
- Friday 14 February 1.30pm.
All sessions still have spaces available. Please register for the session that suits you best.
Bringing all perspectives to the table
We recognise that the academic calendar impacts all parts of the University community, albeit in different ways, and we are committed to ensuring all voices are heard. Your perspective, regardless of your role or area, is invaluable in shaping a calendar that works for everyone.
These sessions will explore the operational and academic implications of the different calendar models being considered. It’s an opportunity to discuss how we can collectively shape a calendar that meets the needs of our community for the future.
