You can submit an EOI for proposals for this year’s festival themes.

UNSW’s popular Education Festival returns for its fourth year, from 18 - 27 November, to bring together the University’s vibrant community of learning and teaching practitioners. Attendees from across disciplines will have the opportunity to learn from each other, and to improve and grow as educators.

One of the festival’s goals is to highlight and applaud the crucial contribution of educators at UNSW and foster an environment that supports their success. Therefore, we invite all UNSW staff to propose presentations, workshops, panel discussions or other activities related to any of this year’s themes:

  • promoting inclusion and accessibility through course design and delivery
  • creating the world that never was
  • future-proofing higher education: innovation, partnerships and building resilience for uncharted times ahead
  • cutting through the AI noise
  • supporting students: from first year to beyond
  • fostering wellbeing and belonging
  • creating a sense of belonging for students to the UNSW community
  • empowering minds: 21st-century teaching and communication.

Closing date: Sunday, 8 September 2024, 11.59pm.
