Join us and share your views, knowledge and experience as we develop our next UNSW Strategy.
As you may have read in the last Inside UNSW, or in yesterday’s all staff email, it is now time to shape UNSW to ensure we meet the changing needs of society in the dynamic times in which we live.
The UNSW Strategy: Progress For Allwill set our sights on our 100-year anniversary, focusing our attention on the areas where UNSW people can really ‘turn up the dial’ and maximise our positive impact in Australia and around the world.
The planning process for the Strategy began earlier this year with the work on our inaugural Societal Impact Framework. The Framework, which is still in draft form, incorporates all the broad and important insights provided by our community. It combines today’s most pressing societal issues with the areas where UNSW can be most effective, focusing on global challenges we will pursue to improve society for current and future generations. It sets the vision for how we will achieve Progress for All.
Over the next six months we will be hosting engagement activities, starting with a series of online and face-to-face discussions in July. A Discussion Paper will be released prior to the consultations that provides background to this work and sets the scene around the changing needs of society.
We would love input from as many people in the UNSW community as possible to help us identify our priorities for the new overarching UNSW Strategy.
