UNSW’s EAP, Converge, will host a free webinar on building positive engagement in a diverse workforce.

Cultural intelligence, or CQ, is a critical skill in today’s globalised workforce. The concept is founded in rigorous, academic research conducted across more than 100 countries.

CQ is the ability to relate and work effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds, going beyond existing notions of cultural sensitivity and awareness. By using cultural intelligence, you’ll know how to strategically use cultural differences to come up with more innovative solutions.

This Converge webinar will provide participants with an introduction to CQ, and information on how the development of our CQ can lead to more positive engagement of a diverse workforce.

The event will define CQ and explain why it's important. It will also outline the four CQ capabilities for culturally diverse interactions: drive, knowledge, action and strategy. It will also provide support on how to continue to develop your CQ knowledge.

When: Tuesday 27 August
