Complete the Insight Pulse survey this October to let us know how UNSW is progressing against the Insight survey actions.

In 2023, fixed-term, continuing and casual staff were invited to participate in the Insight staff engagement surveys. We asked you to share your experiences of working at UNSW.

We now want to find out what you think of progress to date in addressing the Insight survey actions so we’ll be launching the Insight Pulse survey in October.

What we’ve achieved so far

Based on your feedback through the Insight survey in 2023, we are focusing on improving leadership and innovation at a University-wide level. We’ve tripled places available on our leadership programs to support leaders to be their best.

We’ve also convened a working group of professional and academic staff to advise on how we can create an environment that supports innovation, and in August we presented the findings to the Vice-Chancellor.

At a faculty and division level, we’ve focused on different actions including improving recognition, balancing workload and improving collaboration.

Insight Pulse survey launching in October 2024

Fixed-term, continuing and casual staff will be invited to participate in the Insight Pulse survey next month. For casual staff, this will include staff who have been paid in the three months up to 26 September 2024.

This will be a brief survey, taking 5–10 minutes to complete. We want to know how we are progressing so that we can better understand what we can continue to do, or change, to make UNSW a great place to work.

The survey will run from 9 October to 30 October. We will share the survey link in October via email.
