Upper campus came alive with activities, performances and food outlets on Wednesday 20 November.
This year more than 5000 registered attendees flocked to the Kensington campus to join the festivities, celebrate our collective progress and acknowledge the University’s 75th birthday.
From 4pm upper campus was alive with activities. UNSW staff, their families and friends participated in bracelet making, face-painting, colouring-in and yoga. There was a reptile wildlife experience for the animal enthusiasts and a scavenger hunt to add a little adventure. Among the line-up of attractions was a UNSW 75-year exhibition which included a quiz, and a paint-the-mural experience to mark the milestone.

Morven Brown carpark was transformed into a miniature theme park, featuring obstacle courses, a giant slide and a Ferris wheel. Many attendees enjoyed performances from UNSW alumnus Lior and R&B and future soul singer-songwriter Ngaiire at the main stage, while others participated in a little friendly competition with some garden games on the Michael Birt Lawn. UNSW also acknowledged the significant contribution to society from NSW Fire and Police with an educational vehicle display.

All the culinary bases were covered. A variety of food trucks parked outside Clancy offered ever-popular chips-on-a-stick, nachos, chicken satay, gozleme, pasta and salads. For a post meal sweet treat loukomades and ice-cream were available at the Mathews Pavillion.
Thank you to everyone who made the afternoon so popular and such a delight for all ages.
